Adventure Activity Regulations - what are they and how they came about

Show students examples of the various types of forms that are used - Safety Management Plans, Activity Operational Plans, Hazard ID forms, RAMS forms -  go through the Going Place Safety Management Plan with the students on the projector as this is the one they will be using for their assessment (it is on the Shared Drive)


Activity - students in groups to identify hazards for various activities - abseiling, bungy jumping, jet boating, coach tour, museum trip, mountaineering - focus on the fact that it is crucial to identify who? what? where? when? - this has a big impact on the likely hazards
