The DE Hub Resources site is predicated on the aspiration the OER movement as outlined in the Final Report by UNESCO on open courseware. In this respect the DE Hub presents the resources it provides with the permission for adaptation… enabled by information/communications technology…for...a diverse community of users… and …to provide an educational, non-commercial resource (UNESCO 2002: 24).

As the DE Hub’s research effort develops and expands the resources available will likewise grow. It is early days but our efforts will not be long in coming to fruition.

In a spirit of collaboration and a community of practitioners and as Stephen Downes [[1]] stresses we think of a system where communities produce and consume their own resources (Downes, 2007) therefore you are invited to contribute any research related resources that align with our three Key Themes: Research and Development, Community and Open Learning and Teaching and Learning.
