About Me
Ryan Stone is a sous-chef at the Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Hotel in Downtown Vancouver.
Ryan is the winner of the Bocuse d’Or 2011 National Selection Competition held in Montreal, Quebec, 2008. (The Bocuse D'Or The Bocuse d’Or is a flagship international cooking competitions in the world, organised under French Chef Paul Bocuse. It is is held every two years in Lyon, France.
Ryan will represent Canada at the 2011 Bocuse d’Or World Cuisine Contest in Lyon, France. He will also accompany (Canada’s Bocuse d’Or 2009 competitor) Chef David Wong, to the next Bocuse d’Or competition in Lyon, in January 2009.
Ryan was apprentice to Canadian candidate Morgan Wilson (2005). He was apprentice assistant to Scott Jaegar in the Canadian Selection Competition which resulted in Scott’s recognition as the Canadian Bocuse d’Or candidate (2007)
