Dear Creating Sustainable Futures participants

Welcome to the Creating Sustainable Futures course (CSF104), hosted at the OERu. We aim to show how sustainable futures are entirely possible. Many projects once deemed impossible are thriving. The tools and processes can support this.

These instructions are for: Independent study before the course starts.

The course was developed to build capacity in Creating Sustainable Futures (CSF).

The OERu envisions a world where all learners will have more affordable access to higher education.

Introductory Overview

During this introductory session you will familiarise yourself with the CSF104 course site and meet the course facilitators. You will also establish your personal learning environment and introduce yourself using your course blog.

We acknowledge the funding support of the New Zealand National Commission for UNESCO which supported the development of the course materials and the open source technologies we are using to enable educators around the world to widen access to open online courses using OER. We are trialling a few new technologies with the 2016 offering of the course and you may encounter a few teething problems. We thank you in advance for your understanding and feedback to help us improve the technologies.
