It’s useful and valuable to prioritise the impacts that you identify from the impacts assessment exercise. This will help identify which impacts are more significant and should be addressed as a priority. There is no science to determine what is more or less significant, and some useful guidance is provided on page 11 of the Planning for Sustainability guide.

The matrix tool below is also a useful way of evaluating the priority of different impacts.
