Creating sustainable futures/CSF101/Wrapping up
Dear CSF101 participants
Thank you for your interest and participation in the prototype offering of CSF101.
Our site statistics recorded 110 unique users from 17 different countries visiting the course site. We appreciate your help in testing a few new technologies on the OERu course platform, specifically forums.oeru.org and the corresponding integration of these forum posts in the course feed.
During the debriefing webinar, a few participants noted that they were not able to copy and paste text from the course site. We have traced a bug in the feature used for the swipe action for mobile users to navigate between pages. We have disabled this feature for now so that you can copy and paste text until we get the bug fixed.
All OERu resources are openly licensed, and we encourage users to copy, reuse and remix the materials. OER is a sustainable and renewable resource! We apologise for the inconvenience and thanks for reporting the problem.
Next micro-course
The next micro-course in the Creating sustainable futures series, Designing the transition to a living future (CSF102), starts this week. Please note:
- You will need to register on CSF102 course site to post comments on WENotes (Click on the head graphic to register.)
- You will need to register your course blog url again and please use the "CSF102" tag for your posts on this course. (This is needed to harvest posts for the course feed.)
- We will be experimenting with a different technology for sending out course announcements for CSF102. We have posted copies of all the course announcements in the unlikely event that we experience any technical difficulties with email announcements.
I look forward to seeing you online during the coming week.
With kind regards
Wayne Mackintosh
