Exercise Three: Birthday Invitation
Invitation Description
Instructions
Tommy has requested that his party invitations have the colours red and blue on it and also a picture of a clown.
Using the description above create an invitation for Tommy’s 5th Birthday party.
The invitation is to be a standard A4 size. It should be easy to read, appealing to the appropriate audience and contain all information required.
The invitation must also include the following:
- A page border
- Text Shading
- A Graphic
- A Footer with today’s date
Practice Exercise Four: Volleyball Notice
- Open the page Volleyball Tournament and follow the instructions there for copying the text.
- Paste the text you have copied into a new Word document.
- Complete the following tasks:
- Set the size of the headings to 24
- Set the size of the body text to 14
- Add a footer that includes today’s date right aligned
- Change line spacing to 1.5
- Add a double lined page border to the notice
- Underline the bottom line containing the Phone information
- Add yellow shading to the title “Sand Volleyball Tournament”
- Find the word ‘limited’ and replace with the word ‘restricted’
- Change the dates in the body from Saturday June 21 and Sunday 22 June to Saturday April 2nd and Sunday 3rd April
- Spell Check the document
- Vertically align the notice on the page
- Save the document with an appropriate name
- Print one copy
