CTVSD1/Introduction/Overview
From WikiEducator
The first step in planning and designing a course or a training programme is understand the type of educational or training outcomes you are working with. You usually find the outcomes defined in the qualification document or training programme.
Once you pick a course or a module for your learning project the first thing to do is refer to the document providing the course/ module information and review the defined educational or training outcomes. There are two key stages this learning project will assist you in completing:
- analysing and interpreting the type of outcomes you are working with to determine competence and performance criteria, and
- familiarise yourself with the OARAS learning design framework and template to assist you in designing competency-based training and assessment.
