Now that you know how to analyse and interpret the outcomes of the unit or course you are working on and have viewed the introduction video to the OARAS template and how to use it you are ready to complete the outcomes section of your OARAS document. If you would like you can also review the examples provided in the examples section before you start. So get your team together and let's do it.
Complete outcomes in OARAS
Here are the steps for you and the team to follow to complete the OARAS outcomes section:
- If you have not downloaded the OARAS template already download it from here and save it on your device.
- Open the template. It is in a .ott open format so you can use OpenOffice software or any other word processing editor you have.
- Enter the qualification and module titles at the top and save as your first draft/ version.
- Refer to the outcomes of your module and performance criteria from the qualification or training programme document or the once you have developed after analysing and interpreting the provided outcomes. Enter all the module outcomes at the top.
- Then enter one outcome and the relevant performance criteria per each row in the first column under outcomes and save your work.
Well done you have completed the first section of your OARAS design document and this course.
