Upon completion of this self assessment the learner will:
  • Assess their ability to create and save a new document
  • Start open office writer and open an existing document
  • Save the document under a different name
  • Demonstrate how to save a document using different formats
  • Close a document
  • Get online help

Portfolio Activity

  1. Find and select Open Office Word Procesor from the Applications menu.
  2. When prompted create a new document
  3. When your document has been created save your document to disk.
  4. Close the new document
  5. Again start Open Office Word Processor and open your recently saved document
  6. Save your document again under a different document format
  7. Get online help from the OO Word processor menu
  8. Close the document
