Objective

To gain a basic understanding of the range of New Zealand Fauna.

Activity

To deliver a 5 - 10 minute presentation on a unique/unusual native New Zealand animal. 

Task

You will be given an animal to research.  You will then deliver a 5 minute presentation on that animal.  You should imagine that your audience is a group of enthusiastic tourists who are keen to find out more about NZ fauna.  Consider carefully what sort of information an audience like this would like to hear.

Your presentation should include:

Photographs

Interesting facts

Maori myths and legends (where relevant)

Your presentation will be marked by both your peers and your tutor
