Module 4: Designing assessment

I extend a huge welcome to you all. I am the course facilitator and am looking forward to sharing insights into this type of assessment with you. The focus is on developing a learning community who will be working towards common goals, e.g., designing and facilitating assessment of action competence. Informal learners (not enrolled) are welcome to access the resources.

The course is offered through online learning using a mix of approaches which will be confirmed by the learning community. For example, self-paced learning, real time web conferencing, online discussion and networking using a variety of social media. The intention is to encourage the formation of a Community of Practice that you can continue to access long after the course is finished. To make a start click on the Getting Started tab in the header box at the top of this page.

Assessment Practices for Action Competence is a course from the Continuing Education programme offered at Otago Polytechnic, Aotearoa New Zealand. Participants can access the resources freely, or pay a small fee for facilitation and/or assessment services. To find out more about these services or to formally enroll please email OP enquiries.
