What is this course about?
It’s your country, it’s your language, it’s fun... so let’s Kōrero Māori!
What will I learn?
This course will further develop students' competence in:
- listening,reading, speaking ad lib and writing in Te Reo Maori
- understanding of tikanga Maori
- researching and presenting information gathered on Te Ao Maori
- expressing personal thoughts and opinions on a given topic
Things to learn: Mihi, trips and outings, story telling, goals, youth issues, the Pacific Islands
What sorts of things will I do?
Take part in Haka, weaving, poi, shared meals, Waiata and learn more of our unique culture.
