If you end up participating virtually in the conference, either by watching the videocast of the three keynotes, listening to the audiocasts of the breakout sessions, getting involved with the Remixathon, following along on the twitter stream, please let us know. We are really trying to make the event as open as possible and knowing you've got some benefit from participating virtually is a huge boost to these efforts.

See here for tips on how to participate virtually, including live video streaming of keynote presentations: http://openedconference.org/2012/happenings/opened12-virtually/

"I'm watching remotely this year, and thanks to the IT team for providing rich transmissions. I'm working on an app to display Mozilla Open Badges alongside other assertions of learning achievement, embeddable on users' home Web infrastructure, wherever that may be. Beyond that, I feel there is a lot we can do with badge-like data. I hope to attend next year and talk with you all in person about this and more!"--ottonomy 17:48, 16 October 2012 (UTC)
"My favorite conference. I really wish I was there. Thank you for the webcast. I created this doc and video as a call for action http://z.umn.edu/opentextbooktranslation, http://youtu.be/bIeP9jP6ELI with voice, http://youtu.be/x6mz3U7iOgk with music. I look forward to seeing you all next year"
