A kumaara tries to find out to which spirit the young woman (a novice) is possessed. Two kumaaras face the temple as the paatri who holds the idol of God comes near the gate of the temple Paucity. The kumaaras & siri women take rest (1:48) The deity carried on the head by a paatri is brought to the katte (pajjimaDaloguNDa) and placed on it. A puuja is performed The possession of siri women and kumaaras begins again after a pause (4:25) The daliya of a group ends as they proceed towards the pajjimaDalaguNDo, which is set up nearby on the katte. This is the place where all relinquish the flower in their hand birippune - at the pajjimaDalaguNDo the siri women of one group surrender the areca flowers. The kumaaras of that group also give away the flowers

The staLa kumaara reaches a state of intense possession and he too relinquishes the areca flower (6:27)
The third group which was standing for daliya in another part of the temple also comes near the pajjimaDalagunDo.
