|What have I learned to do and how will I be able to use it in building learning in the online environment?

Well so far this is lots of fun, I'm not having too much trouble as I have a little experience in web page development and mark up language - so that helps heaps. Somebody may have taken up the idea of a textbook for adult educators - so it would be good to work on that - I would prefer to have people to collaborate with as this is what I see as the best use of a wiki, so hopefully something will come of that.

Well decided to take the plunge - have done some research and cannot find a free/open source text book that covers all the stuff I want to cover, so have set up the page to get it all started. Nothing happens in this universe unless somebody decides to make a start - somebody might as well be me!

Last couple of days I have had lots of fun playing in my use page and sandbox. I think I have pretty well got the basics down, although I am looking forward to doing the tutorial on Structuring Wikis. Then I can get started on my contribution - the textbook for adult educators - obviously I can't do this all on my own, but over a couple of months I can probably get some basic information in there for most of it - that would be a start and the community can refine it.
