The 7th goal of the Millennium Development Goals addresses environmental sustainability. There are four main focuses, each with subsections. They center around ensuring environmental sustainability policies in countries, reducing biodiversity loss, improving access to safe drinking water and sanitation, and improving the lives of slum dwellers.
