My continuous involvement in advocating for women’s rights both nationally and internationally is partly the reason I would like to deepen her knowledge and leadership skills by participating in this program It is important to draw on the connection of women’s human rights as there can never be development in countries without extending women the platform to access equal opportunities in society.
Professional Learning
I beleive that interacting with other women leaders will be an opportunity to share experiences and lessons learnt as well as strategies that can benefit my organization and my career as a whole. I will nurture and develop me for local and global leadership including the empowerment of young African women that will enable them to play a *crucial and *constructive role in the development in their communities and the world at large. I will be challenged to probe philosophical thought and the cultural basis of belief systems and existing theories, be they psychological, social, political, religious, economic, or communication theories; to develop my critical thinking and analytical skills to address these issues.
