I recently came to WikiEducator to carry out my project of creating an overview/ study guide for the CLEP Humanities Examination. It will utilize material from various Open Education Resources, and when finished, be shared with the creative community to be managed and regarded as a reliable study guide.
I am a student at a community college in my hometown, and this project was actually given as a means to motivate and accelerate my study for the Humanities exam. As I work through various open-source textbooks and other materials, the ever-evolving "course" will reflect my digestion of those materials. Until I am finished studying and have passed the exam, I hope to use the wiki more as a notebook/ personal study guide where I express what I'm learning. However when I'm finished, I hope the community takes on my project and turns it into a monitored and reliable source for information on the exam, how to study for the exam, as well as links to various OER relating to the Humanities.
This is the first wiki community that I've ever been a part so please be patient as I learn the norms and appropriate doings of a wiki creator.
