RESPONSIBILITEIS IN PROSHIKA

    1. Monitoring and evaluating non-formal education (NFPE) and Adult Literacy.
    2. Preparing and analytical reports on above mention subjects.
    3. Conduct and coordinate training courses and workshop for teachers, supervisors and trainers of NFPE and Adult Education.
    4. Prepare Training Schedules.
    5. Plan for training sessions with a view to promote Active Learning.
    6. Assess the needs of target people in developing Curriculum.
    7. Develop and publish the curriculum and materials NFPE and Adult Literacy.
    8. Get involved actively in the field test and ensure proper implementation.
    9. Arrangement of inclusive education in the experimental areas selected by Proshika.
    10. Conduct field test and develop and edit manuals of Adult Literacy.
    11. Develop supplementary reading materials for the NFPE children and adult neo-literates.
    12. Contributor of "PARAR DABI', bi-monthly continuing education journal for new literate and people with limited literacy skills, published by Proshika, since 1996.
    13. Training on development theatre (theoretical and practical) In acting: Expression, mime, body language, vocal acting, recitation, pronunciation, improvisation, theatre game etc. In direction: total conception about set, light, script development, costume and stage.


CONSULTANCY

    1. February 5 to 17, 2008 : Short term consultant to provide services on “Progress Assessment of Competitive Literacy Initiative (CoLI) Project’’ for Education Program, CARE BANGLADESH.
    2. November’07- January’08 : Short term consultant to finalize the developing community learning circle (CLC) guide book (VOL-2) of SUCCEED project with the support from sub recipient FIVBD-TAT and SUCCEED technical team.
    3. July - August , 2007  : Short term consultant for traditional game-book develop for SUCCEED, Save the Children USA, Bangladesh Field office .
    4. June - August , 2007  : Short term consultant to make theatre about the lives of people from marginal communities and stage show of the production at community level regarding the issue of preserving diversified cultural heritage attached to the Diversity & Citizenship Them of Action Aid Bangladesh.
    5. April - May , 2007  : Short term consultant to finalize the developing community learning circle (CLC) guide book (VOL-1) of SUCCEED project with the support from sub recipient FIVBD-TAT and SUCCEED technical team.
    6. August -September, 2005 : Short term consultant with Save the Children USA, Bangladesh Field office in review, follow-up and supervise printing of story books based on bedtime stories narrated by grandmothers.
    7. July- August , 2005  : Short term consultant to make peoples theatre about Arsenic free Water for Grameen Shikha, Gremmen Bank.
    8. April - May , 2005  : Worked with UNICEF (basic education material development team) in developing story books for the Hard To Reach Programme.
