Research project in open source educational software has led to development of a system which can turn a presentation into a variety of multimedia learning resources:

1. A script for posting to a wiki or blog page which can be parsed and played by the system

2. A zip file containing the script and the presentation slide images which can be played on a mobile device (low bandwidth alternative to video)

3. A set of HTML files with pre-recorded text-to-speech versions of the script narrating each slide

4. A video suitable for YouTube
