I manage the translation team coordinators for the collective. Lower level communities that often end up using the material are unable to comprehend English at a level to really learn from it.
I studied Commmunications but after a little time in the workforce decided it just wasn't for me. I found myself as an Australian Young Ambassador on a trip with the UNOV to Africa to help develop local support for the Millennium Development Goals. It was a real eye opener.
After that trip I decided that I wanted to be a doctor. So now, after a very long year and a half studying the prerequisites (chemistry, maths, biology, physiology, and physics) I have three months to prepare for the entry test. I have been with the Community Empowerment Collective for over 2 years. Managing teams and now I manage the team managers and I also have a few teams.
