New Search - This webpage gives a nice overview about how computers exactly impact our society. The webpage starts by giving a little history about computers and then talks about the numerous ways that it is impacting us. This was a new search and I feel like this gave a nice and wholesome overview of the subject we are learning about.

Selected Media - This was the first Find It media articles that I searched and I found this one to be quite interesting. This article talked about how a human can make anything a habit given the right circumstances. This was especially helpful because it taught me how to get in a habit to complete the coursework of this class in a timely manner.

I found this article to be very enlightening because it showed in a very succinct way what to do to succeed in life. Selected Media - This article was one that I personally didn't review but I followed in a discussion. This article was very good in informing individuals about certain privacy concerns on the internet and how to manage one's digital footprint. This article was recommended by many of the students in the discussion and as a result I thought that I would include this article.
New Search - This blog page was one that I selected in the Blogs of Interest discussion mainly because it gave a wholesome review of all things sports. I usually follow this blog and use it for all my up to date information of sports. I received a comment from another student agreeing with my selection.

New Search - Often times in schools we take science classes but engineering classes are often left out. From the K-8 Engineering discussion, this article gave a very good outline of how to incorporate engineering education into schools. This is a great article for this section because it offers an easy yet effective way to provide students a more wholesome education.

Midterm Project Write-Up
Hi my name is Aditya Gollakota and I am a student at San Jose State University studying Computer Science. For my midterm project I did Millennium Development Goal #1, which was Eradicate Extreme Poverty and Hunger. The point of this goal is to reduce the amount of poverty available in the world. There are many processes in place that tackling this issue and for the midterm project I evaluated these processes and explored new ideas. Some of the things in place that I looked at was Satellite Technology to determine hotspots of poverty and also organizations like Engineers Without Borders who look to use engineering innovations to better the area. Some of the things that I suggested to combat this issue was to standardize education for the countries and educate the members of society so that they can advocate for change in their country. This way instead of always relying on foreigners to help them they can have the ability to bolster change themselves.

New Search - One of my favorite topics of study is cybersecurity. In this section we talked about different types of technology and how it is rapidly evolving. One thing that everyone forgets is how security evolves with technology. This video gives a great primer to viewers of how cybersecurity is entangled into everything you do on a computer.

New Search - One of the coolest things about Anytime, Anywhere is the establishment of MOOCS. This article is great because it talks about the pros and cons of MOOCS and in what settings they are useful and times that MOOCS aren't that useful.
New Search - Coursera is one of the biggest provider of MOOCS and should definitely be an addition to this section. While not all courses on Coursera are free, there are a large number of courses that are and provide education from individuals from all over the planet.
New Search - One of the biggest inventions that came from anytime, anywhere was realtime. Maps and navigation services have made use of realtime and Waze is a crowdsourced map that gets realtime information about police, traffic, and health incidents all around the area. This would definitely be useful for this section because it epitomizes Anytime, Anywhere.
