"Mathematics is not a set of isolated topics, but rather an integrated whole. Mathematics is the science of patterns and relationships"(Zemelman, Daniels, and Hyde) and an emphasis should be on problem solving. Yet, classroom teachers are busy people, and there is little time to search out and develop creative curriculum that integrates the acquisition of knowledge while still promoting problem solving skills and comprehension.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Geetapathak (talk) 08:23, 5 May 2015 (UTC)
