==What is BRIDGE?==

The history of Bosch is a history of pioneering adventures – technologically, economically, and socially. Bosch India has pioneered a social engagement programme called BRIDGE, elaborated as Bosch’s Response to India’s Development and Growth through Employment Enhancement. The BRIDGE programme focuses on fulfilling the growing need for skilled manpower across sectors in India, making underprivileged children employable, thereby providing a pool of high-quality skilled manpower for the industry.

Each year, Bosch India supports hundreds of school and college drop outs from economically disadvantaged rural and urban backgrounds, who are not in employment, education or training, through this short-term vocational training programme. The candidates’ age group is strictly between 18 and 25 years. ::The duration of this course is 2 months through which we aim to connect the trained candidates with suitable small, medium, and large scale employers in the semi-organized or organized sector.

The training imparts soft skills, such as communication, personality development and grooming, as well as technical and business skills in various areas of prospective employment. BRIDGE also provides assistance for candidates in finding internship and job opportunities upon successful completion of the programme. We have achieved 100% job placement in BRIDGE!
