Communication Skils and Employability Enhancement
Employability is the only demand that the education sector is trying to fulfil. We are not left to any choice of enabling the students towards a sensible life. We are required to impart the skills that the industry demands. That's apt for them. But we teachers and stakeholders of education need to rethink about our blind adherence of the commands. We can still save the students from turning robots. Along with the teaching of Job-oriented skills, we can impart Life Skills as well. Communication Skills can be terms as a Life Skill in that sense. The four skills of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing remain with everyone from the day of birth to the last day on earth. We need to integrate these four to Employability and then only the real Enhancement can take place.
