Hi there,

When a person creates 2 or 3 pages on WikiEd, it's hard to keep track of the pages...and I'm wondering if some talk in the workshop on "structuring" the pages might be useful.

I just wrote to Kaful Prebbie, to thank him for his pages, but also to make the following suggestions. I then went to the OER workshop page (here) to check to see if this was the case (i.e., discussion of structure) and it is not...

Here's the excerpt - hopefully, you'll get what I mean...if not, drop me a note please....

I'm a bit confused, and it took some doing to find out the country in which the capacity building is taking place.

Do you think, in terms of page creation, it might be more useful to start to create a structure, so that the pages are easier to identify? What I'm thinking of is instead of:

www.wikieducator.org/capacity building

www.wikieducator.org/Ghana/capacity building

OR

www.wikieducator.org/Ghana/workshops/capacity building

Then, you have a structure which is easily identifiable, and it makes it easier for you to track where all of your pages are, especially by linking them to an aggregate page. It will also make it easier for other people (newbies, new recruits) to find what you're doing, and get on board....to help in our mutual effort...
