Leaving this note as a record.
I will remove a sentence on this page: "In another example, one of the functions for the calabashes mentioned above is to distribute beer at both social festivals and sacred rituals." (following first paragraph), which refers to an earlier discussion which is in fact not present. It does not seem useful to add the earlier discussion (see section at end of page here) as it refers to images which are not available for display (by permission only) and I can not find suitable alternatives.
Maybe sometime in the future suitable images will be available and we can add this back in.
