PRE-REQUISITES
Achieved or better in 2 Physics External Achievement Standards which must include wither Mechanics 2.4 or Electricity 2.6.
CONTENT
Physics is the fundamental description of the physical world we live in. Students will study mechanics, waves, electricity, quantum mechanics in theory and by carrying out investigations. People working in industries involving Physics come in and speak to students during the year about what they do and how they became involved in their career.
ASSESSMENT
Total 24 Level 3 Achievement Standard credits will be available 5 credits will be internal and 19 credits will be external.

$37.00 for workbook and CD of resources.
FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Physics is essential for a huge range of careers including all aspects of engineering, hi-tech industries such as software development and IT, medicine, pilot, forensics, electronics and architecture.
