Governance

It was recommended that if a national OLPC programme is to go ahead, a dedicated officer might be appointed by the Education and ICT Departments.

National Steering Committee

Need a small core team actively working on the deployment, and representatives from key departments, schools and NGOs who need to be kept informed. The committee should not be too large so it makes meetings difficult or blurs the focus. The core group will also be responsible for monitoring and planning further ahead.

  • Focal point / Main contact officer
  • Core team
  • Other members of steering committee
