Exercise and sport are significant activities in the lives of huge numbers of people around the world. Understanding and influencing the psychological aspects of exercise and sport behaviour represents a complex and intriguing challenge.

This course provides a foundation level experience of a range of theories that explain the impact of psychological factors on exercise and sport behaviour, and exposure to a range of behaviour modification and performance enhancement strategies that are commonly applied to exercise and sport behaviour. It seeks to provide a solid foundation for further study of the theory and practices of exercise and sport psychology.
