Background
Maranatha Christian School, founded in 1967, is sited in a semi-rural setting in the western hills of Lower Hutt. The school sits in a peaceful country atmosphere — yet is only a five minute drive from Lower Hutt city.
Maranatha is a co-ed Christian school with 150 children from years 1—8, drawn from over 30 churches throughout the region. A state-integrated school, we use the Christian Interact curriculum, which is based on national curriculum guidelines.
