Welcome to Module Eight! In this module, we will examine a second national case study of human rights, North Korea. North Korea is widely regarded as one of the most repressive regimes in the world today. In December 2015, the UN General Assembly passed a resolution condemning 'long-standing and ongoing systematic, widespread and gross violations of human rights' there.
