Assessment Three

To successfully complete this subject for credit, students must undertake an interview, either face-to-face, or online (eg. via Skype or Google Hangouts). The interview is weighted at 30% of the final grade.

This is a hurdle requirement, and students cannot pass this subject unless they pass the interview.

The interview will consist of a range of open-ended questions, which will enable students to demonstrate their knowledge of all twelve modules of the course content. Students will also be assessed on their appropriate use in the interview of the concepts and terminology introduced throughout the course.

Interviews will be recorded.

Examples of interview questions might be:

1. What are some of the historical precedents of the modern human rights system?

2. What is the difference between a human rights treaty and a human rights declaration?

3. What mechanisms are in place to help protect the rights of women?
