Welcome to Concept Corner! Key concepts for this module are: Global Ethics Global Ethics is a field that explores and considers the ethical dimensions and implications of global issues. It considers issues in which there are immediate impacts on human rights, such as torture, terrorism and human trafficking, as well as broader issues that can impact on future generations, such as climate change, pollution and so on. Find out more in this week’s activities.

Idealism Idealism is an international relations theory that places moral and ethical considerations ahead of national interest and pragmatic concerns. Realism Realism is an international relations theory that identifies nation-states as the primary international actors, and posits that their actions are motivated by a quest for power and national self-interest.
