From WikiEducator

Jump to: navigation, search

This is an interactive science lesson that uses the Equation Grapher Flash simulation to explore polynomial functions. The simulation was created by the Physics Education Technology Team (PhET) at the University of Colorado.

Functions are a used to precisely describe every day observations. They describe things like children swinging, sunsets, cell division, and explosions. Polynomial functions are very powerful tools for modeling complex phenomena.
