Dr. G. V. Gopal is a teacher educator employed with National Council of Educational Research and Training(NCERT) ,New Delhi and is currently posted at Regional Institute of Education, Mysore, India as Reader in Botany.


Botany, Science Education, Environmental Education and Sustainable development Education, Medicinal Plants and ICT in Education


  1. I love Envirnmental Education. I am interested in undertaking activities and programmes related to Environmental Awareness and sustainable development activities related to Environmental Education.
  2. I have conducted training programmes to DTERT and CTE staff on the Environmental Education.
  3. I have developed a training package on Environmental Education to the IASE, CTE and SCERT staff.
  4. I have conducted a workshop Content Enrichment Programme in General Science for resource persons at secondary level for the three states Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala for +2 level teachers in Biology.
  5. I am also involved in the preparation of Teachers’ Manual of Laboratory Exercises in Biology for Higher Secondary Classes in Pondicherry.

Now of course I am very much interested in wiki and will certainly contribute to wikieducator for realizing its mission "We're turning the digital divide into digital dividends using free content and open networks". I am very happy to be here. I am sure you too. MY ACHIEVEMENTS
