Invitation to help develop the FAQ page

As an open education initiative, the OERu works with learners and the community to develop and improve our course materials collaboratively. We use the pilot offering of OERu courses as an authentic opportunity to develop the frequently asked questions page (FAQs) for future iterations of the course.

Please help us in developing the FAQ page by posting any questions (and prospective answers) you recommend for inclusion based on your experience of the wiki skills learning pathway. Login to WikiEducator and post your questions on the source page in the wiki. Yes, this site was developed using a wiki and you can help to improve the course site for future iterations.

I have a detailed blueprint - Why should I bother spending time producing a storyboard for my course?

A storyboard helps to visualise a learning sequence down to the level of individual activities as they relate to the assessment and learning outcomes of a course. Storyboarding is a useful thought process and exercise to conduct before commencing with the development of an outline for an individual learning pathway. However, some designers prefer to start drafting the outlines for individual learning sequences without producing a storyboard. Use what works best for you. Producing a draft outline in the wiki is a form of storyboarding because it is easy to adapt and tweak the sequence of materials and learning activities.
