DIRECTIONS FOR PREPARING THE LAB "ENTHALPY, ENTROPY and FREE ENERGY CHANGES for a CHEMICAL REACTION"

For a class of 24 students (12 pairs):

CHEMICALS

CHEMICAL PREPARATION PROCEDURE
Lead chloride (solid) Put about 120 g in a beaker, with a spatula
2 L of 0.1 M Na2CrO4 Dissolve and dilute about 32.39 g of sodium chromate to 2.0 L. Put into 6 separate bottles.
2 L of 0.1200 M AgNO3 Dissolve and dilute 40.78 g of silver nitrate to 2.0 L. Out into 5 separate bottles.

12 - burettes, with clamps and stands
24 - thermometers
24 - 100 mL graduated cylinders
48 - 250 mL erlenmeyer flasks
12 - 400 mL beakers
12 - stirring rods
Box of facial tissues
12 - Hot Hands
12 - grease pencils
