Open Content Licensing Working Group

(back to wikieducator.org/CCCOER/Committees)

On Sept. 23, 2010, the CCCOER Steering Committee received the following message...

We have recently established an open collaboration between OCWC, the OERF / WIkiEducator and Creative Commoners to work on the Open Content Licensing Project:

The aim is to fill the resource gap we have in providing support materials in helping educators take informed decisions about open content licensing in language which educators understand. We are also planning to launch an international pilot workshop using our Learning4Content training model for the inaugural workshop.

Is CCCOER interested in being part of the project. (No money involved -- just a commitment to help spread the word through your networks and all volunteer help gladly received.)

I'm working with UNESCO to fund a small consultancy for a primary author to drive the project to completion for the benefit of all working in OER.
