Welcome to AST1000 In this video you will meet Dr Anna Hayes, a primary author of the AST1000 OERu course as she welcomes participants. Anna has a BA (Asian Studies, Mandarin Chinese, History), a Master of Arts (Asian Studies) and a PhD (International Relations). Anna has a keen interest in the Asia and Pacific regions with and solid academic foundation in International Relations. |
In the introductory video, Anna refers to the diversity of the Asia and Pacific region and suggests that it is an area which is often misunderstood. We invite you to share a few thoughts on WEnotes about what you appreciate and enjoy about the region. Remember to include the hash tag "#AST1000" in your post. For example:
