Components of the learning environment
The learning environment comprises the learning materials and where to find them in the course structure; the technologies used for learning activities and interaction with your peers; and the learning process encompassing different ways to engage in the course.
Course structure
The course website is divided into three main sections including the course guide, information about assessment and the learning console which provides access to the course announcements and courseware.
Interaction technologies
This course uses a number of interaction technologies including microblogs, blogs and forum posts which are distributed across the Internet and aggregated into the course feed which you can access from the learning console.
Learning process
This course offers the freedom of three ways to engage depending on your own interests and personal learning motivations: Self-directed interest, active participation and learning for credit. The choice is yours.
