During this learning pathway we:
- Reflect on the ownership of ideas in a digital world;
- Explore definitions of open educational resources (OER);
- Introduce the 5R framework for defining OER;
- Consider the educational values, pedagogical utility and technology enablers which inform the concept of OER;
- Explore potential benefits and myths associated with OER; and
- Discuss barriers, opportunities and the way forward for OER.
