Control is a very important aspect in any business undertaking. Control may be applied in various ways in an organisation.In management,the following are different types of controls:

  1. Financial controls
  2. Marketing controls
  3. Budget controls
  4. Human resource controls
  5. Information systems control

In order to achieve an effective and well developed marketing plan,controls should be in place, so that organisational goals are closely monitored.
