  • Bring in 2 possible project ideas to discuss next class.

Week 2

Monday 9/8

  • Chapter 2: Read in class (Joel Arthur Barker, “Defining a Paradigm,” pages 17-21).
  • Work collaboratively to answer questions (pages 23-24) in groups
  • In-class conferences to discuss possible proposal ideas

  • Finalize proposal idea for library session on Monday (9/15)
  • Finish questions for “Defining a Paradigm”

Wednesday 9/10

  • Review “Defining a Paradigm” and accompanying questions
  • Six P’s Exercise, page 9
  • Malcolm Gladwell, “Designs for Working,” pages 45-52 and questions (group work)

  • Bring in your resume/cover letter (if you have one)
  • Print out a posting for a business-related job opening and bring it for 9/17 (Wednesday) class
