This lecture will help you understand how the Cold War was experienced in the Third World. The Cold War involved numerous proxy wars in Third World countries, including Guatemala, Korea and Vietnam. This lecture explores these proxy wars, why they were fought, and the broader impact of the Cold War on the developing world.
