Dear Student,

Welcome to World History: World War II to the Present. We're delighted you've decided to further your education by undertaking this course!

World History: World War II to the Present begins by examining the causes of the most lethal conflict in history. It examines the war in Europe and the terrible events of the Holocaust. It covers war in Asia and the Pacific, including the attack on Pearl Harbor and the use of atomic bombs. The course then explores how Europe and Asia recovered in the aftermath of the war. It considers the global impact of the Cold War, and the decolonization period. Finally, it reflects on the world today.
