The Early Modern Period is a period in history during which many of the foundations of our modern world system developed. In this course you'll examine the beginnings of global trade, the rise of colonialism, the changing role of religion and the Enlightenment - each of which profoundly impacted the world we live in today. We hope you find this journey as fascinating as we do!
