Workshop on LaTeX
Workshop on [math]LaTeX[/math] on December 02-03, 2010 in IDOL
The Institute of Distance and Open Learning organised a two-day Statel level Workshop on "LaTeX : A Free Open Source Typesetting Software", on December 02-03, 2010. The workshop was aimed to train College teachers and Post graduate Research students with LaTeX , a typesetting software very useful to type technical documents like articles, question papers, research papers, thesis which involves tables, graphs, cross referencing, index, bibliography and Mathematical symbols/formulae.
28 College teachers and 4 Research students, of which 3 participants were from other University participated in the Workshop. The teaching faculty of IDOL also participated in the Workshop. Dr. Ajit Kumar, Asst. Professor from Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) and Shri Mandar Bhanushe, Asst. Prof.-cum-Asst. Director, IDOL were the resource persons for the Workshop.
