Planning the database
Before you begin creating the database you will need to develop a plan.
The plan must show:
- That you have identified the purpose of the database.
- What is the best database model to meet the requirements: flatfile, hierarchical, relational, network or a combination of models

- You will only be able to complete page 1 of the plan at this stage. You will complete page 2 (field names, data types and additional specifications) as you work through Unit 2.
Do not submit the plan until you have completed page 2.
